Dear Avstar,
Firstly, I´d like to say that I TOTALLY agree with Dani and others who find it shameful that You don`t get more compliments !
-Secondly, I have in my other messages/threads stated the importance of each individual finding her/his OWN way to what She/He fells comfortable with...!
In our reigning fashion climate, where much too many people run in packs, following celebs like Jennifer Aniston, Christina Aguillera and what others -the fashion industry- preaches, (believing that long hair always looks better than short and that short hair is incompatible with femininity and child rearing) instead of thinking for themselves.....I relize how difficult it can be to go against the grain and cutting long hair short, but I can almost guarantee that once YOU dared to take the plunge, You`d find the rewards absolutely awesome & unforseen.....of course, You`d come across backwardly insecure people who`d critizise Your choice, but You`d learn to ignore them and find true self confidence & self esteem in going Your own way, -You`d love it, I´m sure !
I concur with someone who suggested You could go for a chin length a-line bob with a buzzed nape, You´ll find it really cool in the summer heat, while Your friends lies sweating with wool scarves of long hair covering their napes or with buns like old ladies...-You can just shower and go, while they`ve got to spend I don´t know how long time sorting out their hair tangles, before they can turn to what they`d actually LIKE to do after beach, sports etc.
