then why are you posting to a short hair forum? 
if you don't want to get it cut then don't.
if you want to get it cut short, but there are issues like the customs where you reside then you have to make a decision. are you so concerned about what others will think if you cut your hair?
most of the styles which I showed you would be acceptable in the west. some are a bit more trendy, but not considered outrageous. many such styles are worn by women who have various lifestyles.
a style like this would be acceptable in the corporate world.
